We will start our 10 Day Morocco Holiday with a guided city tour in Marrakech – This city is popularly known as "the red city" or "the city of palms." then meet our official guide and head to visit The Koutoubia mosque; a spectacular mosque built in the 12th century and has a large square with a garden that illuminates light during the night, We will see historical palaces and the traditional culture of this historic city. We may begin with a visit to The Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Badia Palace, and other intriguing sites. Time to enjoy lunch, and we will stroll around Jamaa El-Fna World Square, which is well known for the snake charmers and the delicious food, overflowing orange juice. From there, we'll go on to the souk "market" where we will get the opportunity to see the local artisans' lamps and smell the flavors of all the Moroccan spices.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Today, we will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech to begin our day excursion to the High Atlas Mountains - Ourika Valley. As we travel further, we will take in the expansive panorama of the Green Valley. Along the way, we will reach Setti Fadma, which is renowned for its seven waterfalls, magnificent streams, and astounding cliffs. Here, we will meet our local tour guide, who will lead us on a short hike to the first waterfall, where we can swim and observe the monkeys climbing the trees in the area. After that, we will investigate the towns where the Berber culture still practices medieval agriculture. We will eventually take commemorative photos with the locals or in the lush valley. And then. we will have time to enjoy our lunch in a precious restaurant that featured an amazing view of the high Atlas Mountains, Later on, we will take our feet back to Marrakech.
Overnight in Marrakech
We will pass through many different landscapes today as we travel From Marrakech to Dades, we will first stop at the highest road, Tishka to take in the magical Atlas Mountains view to fully appreciate the breathtaking panorama of the High Atlas Mountains. Continue to Ait Ben Hadou, which was designated as part of the human heritage by UNESCO in 1987 and the setting for some well-known movie shows. Such as Gladiator, Sahara, and Game of Thrones. This fortified Ksar sits in the province of Ouarzazate. After that, we will move to explore Ouarzazate, this city also known as "the gate of the desert," It is where trips to "Dades," the Eastern Oasis, the Southern Road, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains begin. Above all, Ouarzazate is a gateway to the thrilling experiences of the Great Southern. Continue traveling along the road of Thousand Kasbah toward Rose Valley for a wonderful visit of the Roses a center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Acres of Persian roses are grown and harvested here to create rose water, creams prized throughout Morocco and the world before making our way to Dades for our final step of the day.
Overnight in Dades
After breakfast, we will continue our traveling to Merzouga. First, we will take in the panoramic view of Dades Valley before moving on to Todra Gorges, also known as "Tinghir," and the Grand Canyon of Morocco. Here, we will stop to explore the area and see its fantastic rock walls that magically change color as the sun shines and reflect the light, we will have the chance to dip our legs in the water. After that, we will continue on our journey and make a stop in the Tinjdad settlement to check out its impressive Berber architecture before moving on to the Merzouga desert, as we reach the Sahara we will see an amazing oasis of sand see that reflects the golden dunes of Merzouga desert. Afternoon, we will take on a guided camel trip over the desert's dunes, guided by a local friendly guide who knows the area well. Time to cherish, we can explore the Sahara more by quad biking – on your own - and take pictures before we continue to our luxury camp where we'll spend the evening and take in the breathtaking scenery of the Sahara desert of Morocco.
As we reach our desert camp, we will be greeted with dates and mint tea. After that, we will relax and take in the breathtaking sunset as the sun sets over the golden dunes of Morocco's Sahara desert. We will enjoy a traditional dinner provided by the locals during our night in the peaceful and calm desert camp, followed by Berber music and a campfire time under the starry African sky. Later on, we shall go to our luxury tents with their king-size beds and private shower and bathroom. Merzouga Desert is a fantastic destination to explore and create lifelong memories.
Overnight in Merzouga desert
Early morning, we will wake up to take in the gorgeous desert sunrise, then we will eat breakfast and take a shower before we set off on our journey to Fez city. We will pass through the Ziz Oasis on the route to Midelt, where we'll stop to take in the priceless visit of the Ziz Valley framed by a thousand date palms. Continue to Azrou, the capital city of the Medium Atlas - This city is renowned for its Atlas cedar forest which is home to Barbary apes. Next, we will continue to Ifran; a city which is famed for its chalet-style homes and is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we will reach our last destination for this day, Fes City, where we will spend the following two nights.
Overnight in Fes
A full-day city tour today will take place on Fes with an official guide, during this tour, we will visit the entire city. First, we will start by exploring the magnificent city of Fes and its magnificent medina, "Fes-El Bali.", we will start the day at the Royal Palace before walking through the old Jewish neighborhood, past one of the towers, and stopping at the cemetery Bab-Fettouh. To experience the expansive view of the white sea houses of the medina.
Next, we will see Bab Boujloud; the gate that leads to the inside medina, after that, we will move to see the oldest and most famous Tanneries in the world, here we can have a lookout to see the workers as well as they will be glad to tell you about the different steps of their work. Time for lunch in the heart of the medina, then we move to visit the Nejjarine Museum, a repository for wooden arts and crafts, and then continue our tour to the local instruments, furniture, and carpets. Later on, we will head to explore the historical sites of the imperial city, starting with The Medersas of Bou-Inania, Al Attarine, the religious school of Quran studies, Al-Karawyen mosque, AL-Karawyen University, the oldest continuously operating university in the world, in addition to the significant historic site "Idris’s ll tomb". These sites are just a few of the magnificent ancient structures we will visit during our Morocco trip.
Overnight in Fes
On this day, we will begin our journey by heading to the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first at Meknes, the sixth largest city in Morocco, this city is worth the visit. Here we will visit the magnificent Bab El Mansour. The king's tomb site at the center of the medina, which remains the imperial city. After visiting Meknes, we will drive to Volubilis, the best preserved archaeological site in Morocco. Which was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and known as a ruined Roman city in Morocco’s kingdom. Later on, we will continue to Chefchaouen for the night.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
Today we will move to visit Rabat. The fortified monastery's established in the 19th century. And later became the political and administrative center of the Moroccan monarchy. Named by Yacub El Mansour, the third caliph of the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century. Our visit in Rabat will include the visit of Rabat's beautiful Mohamed V Mausoleum. Royal monument situated in front of Hassan Tower. The Sultan Yacub El Mansour site. The Kasbah of Udaya, a remnant of colonial periods. The old city's narrowest streets. And the colorful fishing boats along the river will also included in our tour. Following our visit to Rabat. We will set aside an hour to go to Casablanca where we will spend our night.
Overnight in Casablanca
Today, we will discover Casablanca, the modern metropolis. And the location of numerous financial businesses and industries. And the capital of an economically significant nation. This city situated in the middle of western Morocco and 95 kilometers south of Rabat. We will start our trip to Casablanca by exploring Mohamed V Square. And the magnificent Hassan ll Mosque, which constructed by Boygue in 1993 and was designed by Michel Pinseau. Hassan ll is the second-largest mosque in Africa and features the second-tallest minaret in the entire globe at 210 m. After the visit of Casablanca, we will travel to Essaouira city for the evening.
Overnight in Essaouira
Morning, we will explore Essaouira City. Our visit in this city will include the fortified rampart of Essaouira's old city. Which served as a location for the popular series Game of Thrones. And previously called Mogador, this harbor was well-known for it’s gorgeous blue vessels. Here, we'll take some time to enjoy Essaouira's picturesque scenery. Then, we will explore the great and lively Moulay El Hassan Square. After that, we will wander through the narrow streets of Essaouira city. To see the traditional market with amazing local artisans' handicrafts.
Our next stop will be the Berber Women Association which produces Argan oil. And then we will visit the tiny workshop which specialized in ornate paid work using Thuya wood “a local conifer”. Later, possibly enjoy the beach and have a fresh fish lunch in the souk (Market) with the locals. Before we come along for a walk during the sunset. For the most unbelievable view next to the beach before we move to Marrakech.
